Moullinex – Chocolat EP (Maxi)

Release: 7 January 2011
Cat#: Gomma DT 024

Sunset Boogie? Beach House? Mocassin Funk? Prog Disco ? We have been hearing many funny names for the new Moullinex sound. Whatever you call it: One thing is clear: you can hear very well where this music has been made: 5 minutes from the beach. It’s sweet, it’s beautiful, it’s romantic – but it is still super danceable and effective on the dance floor. Luis Gomes lives and works in Portugal. And he dj’s all around the world. He knows how to bring together the sun and the moon. The beach and the dancefloor. A great next step after his successful previous Superman EP.

Alan1 – Concertmate (Maxi)

Alan 1-final-1200x1200

Cat#: GOMMA DT025
Release date: 27 December 2010

We are happy to release the first Gomma E.P. of 24 year old electronic funk talent Alan1 from Rome. Concertmate includes 3 new tunes + a remix by Bobermann (from Bloody Beatroots). Included also is Sniff Them: A heavy functional clubtune that already was released on an limited vinyl edition by Final Frontier Records. The track can cause big damage on the dancefloor…but only a few people could get hold of it till now..so Gomma decided to release it again.

But the real special thing are the other tracks: Alan1 makes music that is some times serious, then ironic, melodic but still groove oriented. Analogue synths and digital post-production… electro-funk, Chicago, electronica, jazzdisco, acid-house… Whatever you call it.. it is simply sexy Italian dancefloor music… it sounds new and it sounds nice.

Download at:

Robert Owens: “Great tracks!”
Matt Walsh: “He has a very distinct sound and is fast becoming my favorite artist on Gomma.”
Bottin: “Good stuff”
Tape To Tape: “Love the Alan1 release, great mix of jacking disco funk.”
