The perfect late summer tune. The first 12inch by Berlin DJ Hugo Capablanca (Broken Hearts Club/ Los Massierias) and Swedish amigo T. Keeler. An epic Flamenco Boogie 11-minute jam that is getting loved my many Gomma friends already!
Tim Sweeney: “Nice one! Will definitely support. ” Justus Köhncke: “Hehe, flamenco disco. Holt die Castagnetten aus. Lustig.” Prins Thomas: “Yes yes yes…. lovely stuff!” The Magician: “Loving the dub mix! When Jerry Bouthier proposed us to do a own, very special mix collage with Gomma only tracks, we couldn’t say no. We always liked his djing and also the compilations he did for Kitsune – and so we gave him a GO. And here is the result: He reworked a lot of tracks. Made funny cuts. Created an unusual vibe. Listen for yourself. Here is the 25 tracks mix:
Mix and special edits available on all digital stores now!
Here’s the latest installment in our Gomma Dance Tracks EP series: 4 new dance tracks by 4 of the hottest names in the new Balearic house scene. Music by:
-Mustang, along with Villa and Aeroplane THE upcoming Belgian superproducers.
-New London producerteam The Deadstock 33s & Stopmakingme (Justin Robertson and Daniel Avery) – whose Hercules & Love Affair “My House” Remix is one of the biggest tunes around.
-French disco maestro Copyshop aka DJ Steef
-and a very extended version (edited by King DJ) of Munk‘s Ethno Jazz House stomper “Can I Have Your Attention?”
You all know Jerry Bouthier*, we guess? His Boombox & Ponystep compilations for Kitsuné have been big in the last years. Jerry is a big fan of Gomma and proposed us to do a few edits and a 100% Gomma mix with Gomma Dance Tracks releases only. We liked the idea… to have somebody from this slightly other angle to re-interpret our recent catalogue.
So we gonna release his 100% Gomma mix and 4 Jerry Bouthier Edits in July and August. Included reworkings of In Flagranti’s remix for Golden Bug, The Twelves remix for Munk, Alan1’s track Concertmate and a as yet unreleased THC remix for Diskokaine.

Esperanza is the new group on Gomma. Something that Gomma is very very proud of. Three guys from Italy that combine huge musical talent, an unimitable phantasy, knowledge of music history and technical skill to create a new language in music. All three guys play different instruments and have been playing and producing music for years.
Even though they are all between 24 and 29 years old. Carlo, also known as producer Cécile has already been releasing on Gomma and stirred quite a buzz in the UK for his remixes, as the one for Vampire Weekend that was defined by Erol Alkan on BBC as “this is how a remix has to sound today!”. As a bassplayer Matteo has been touring all over the place with a freak discoband called Disco Drive and opened for acts such as Liars, Klaxons, !!!, Foals etc.. and Sergio produces indie pop records in Italy and has been touring a lot with the band Hot Gossip.
On Esperanza they create this completely new sound that mixes influences from late San Francisco psychedelic vibes, Icelandic atmospheres, Tropical vibes, Duesseldorf electronics, mid 90’s Detroit techno and pure Anima Latina – the universe of Italian melodic and harmonics. Esperanza is in the air, but she’s already far from here. The EP features recording artist Banjo Or Freakout (Memphis Industries, Walls/Kompakt) on vocals and remixes by Luke Abbott and Broke One.
Already supported by James Holden, Laurent Garnier, Cosmo Vitelli, Luke Solomon, Tim Love Lee, Lovebirds, Prince Language…
Here comes Box Codax again. The album is getting massive response right now.. and we are quite happy about that, as it is a really special release. With all that weird but melancholic, strange but beautiful indie rock pop masterpieces on it.
Initially there were no remexis planned for that album.. but for the single “Seven Silvers” some people insisted to do dance versions.. so here we serve you remixes by Den Haan, The KDMS, and Rodion and an instrumental edit by Telonius.
Today we release the new Munk single Mis Labios. A dirty dirty Barrio-House stomper.
Based on a funky Salsa Piano Riff played by Mathias Modica and nasty Spanish vocals by Brazilian DJane and performer Joyce Muniz. The single comes along with a beautiful soulful remix by Black Van and a hard club stomper version by Joyce herself. The summer is there. And the tune for it is here.
