After nearly one year of pausing the Munk band hits the road again. Three test gigs playing the material of the new Munk EP which will be released in September. (The single La Musica comes in June). Together with German IndieRock Stars Die Sterne they will play Dresden on Sunday …Berlin on Monday …Hamburg on Wednesday…this week! Don’t miss.. so much fun.

He is late …with his Winter Mix – Mathias – our man from Munk… but he was really busy the last months.. producing the album for the German band Die Sterne, finishing his own new single La Musica (Release in May) and his Munk EP for sept..

Anyway. Here it is: the Munk Winter Mix. Including new Gomma house records from Golden Bug, Mustang, Cecile, lots of unreleased stuff by other friends, some old funky house goodies… and the upcoming Munk single La Musica..somewhere hidden in between..

Check this out, friends: Mathias Modica – our man from MUNK – has produced and co-written the new album of German Indie Rock Superstars Die Sterne. The CD 24/7 has just been released on Materie records. Mathias had been asked to help to create a completely new and very disco-inspired sound for the band from Hamburg. A very special take on No Wave/Indie House with German lyrics. Currently there is a big press hype about this in Germany and the album has charted on #61 in Germany… Check the last video and the 3-track pre-release that we did on Gomma.

Mathias Munk has been asked to be part of SPORT HIT PARADISE. An art project of New York based artist
Elisabeth Arkhipoff taking place in Paris. Elisabeth asked MUNK to record a track for an imaginary band called “Sport Hit Paradise”. Besides MUNK there are also: Discodeine (Paris), Gavin Russom (DFA New York), In Flagranti and others.

The exhibition will take place:
