To see all the Gomma people together is quite hard. Everybody is in a different place: The Phenomenal Handclap Band in NYC, Rodion in Rome, WhoMadeWho in Copenhagen, Diskokaine is hanging in Tokyo right now, Golden Bug between Paris and Barcelona, Munk living in Marseille, Telonius in Munich…….

So last spring we started doing big “one off” parties in Berlin… to bring all guys in one place…we do it now 2 times a year…to get all the GOMMA family together.

The next one will be on 14th November in Munich. We got this crazy One-Off location: The Munich Old City Hall which is a medieval city building, never used for parties. Most of the current Gomma guys will perform there: WhoMadeWho , Telonius, new portuguese disco band Moullinex, Munk, Golden Bug and
our old friend SHIT ROBOT from DFA and JUNIOR BOYS will come. We also have a little exhibition with the latest visuals by our boys SMALPAZE and Lukasz Jaworski.

It’s great: Everybody seems to love the new band on our label. A unbelievable euphoria about New York’s PHENOMENAL HANDCLAP BAND everywhere. Franz Ferdinand just called to ask if they wanna go on tour with them. Even the NME describes them as one of the best bands for next year. Seems psych funk is the sound for 2010.

Here is the new single with remixes by New Yorks Disco Man ANTHONY MANSFIELD, DAVID E SUGAR who has been doing stuff for KITSUNE recently, Belgian THE GLIMMERS do the AcidDisco and GOMMAS very own TELONIUS is on a crazy electro disco voyage…this is gonna be sooooo big!

The KDMS. London’s Soul Diva KATHY DIAMOND and 20 year old disco honcho MAXIMILIAN SKIBA from Warsaw have joined forces and started this new band.
This first single features a remix by New York City’s legendary Disco DJ NICKY SIANO. Formerly DJ partner of LARRY LEVAN and resident at clubs such as Studio 54 and Paradise Garage. Future classic! Plus the Munk club edit and the banging Jaguar Remix by NICKY SIANO and TELONIUS.
